Erika Raven's first album was the story of Thomas Rindt. It was her first hit. As a starting comic strip author, she won the famous Stripgids Prize (the bronze Adhemar), an award that, before, was only granted to experienced and famous authors. |

| Moessonregens
(Mousson Rains) is the first of two stories in the series Thomas Rindt,
a superior comic strip debute about people with their doubts and fears. It's a story about
cowardise and courage, but it soon appears that those two words cover only one theme:
despair... Thomas Rindt and Hendrik Lissauer, two war correspondents, are following the
civil war in Meotham. At first, the looked at what happened as objective reporters. But
they got involved. Like it or not. The girl Chay leads them to the rebels of the MBF, and
they learn that the Ultimate Right does not exist. In De Stad van de Engelen (City of the Angels) Thomas Rindt runs into the jungle with the rebels after his friend Hendrik died. He is living in two separate worlds. The clean and well organised Western Europe, where he doesn't want to go back to, and the heath of South-East Asia with its musquitos and the revolution. He finds his way, but he can't make his choice between Chay and the memory of Ellen. |
